An alpha for you to explore, not the finished game
Welcome to the forge, still hot. This is an alpha test: an early, raw version, for you to know the world from the inside and help shape it. It is not the final version, and that is exactly the joy of being here this early.
More battle than story, on purpose
In this phase, you will find far more combat than narrative. That is on purpose: what needs deep testing right now are the systems, the combat, the conditions, the items. The grand story comes on strong later, and you will have helped sharpen it.
Expect rough edges, expect the unexpected. Every strange thing you find and report to me makes M&P sturdier.
Your secret mission: test both sides of the soul
Create your character, play, and then delete it and make another, very different one. Most important: test one of good alignment and one of evil alignment.
Many encounters with the NPCs change depending on who you choose to be. Doing this, you see the world react in different ways, and you show me whether each path is as alive as it should be.
This world rises with your help
I build Mysteries & Perils with my own hands, and it is the dream of my life. How much it grows, and how fast, truly depends on you who are here from the start.
